It all started at a spiritual event in the Netherlands. I went there with one clear intention: to find someone who could transform a sacred stone I had brought back from the Lost City in Colombia into a necklace. That stone carried the energy of the mountains, and I knew it needed to be honored in a special way. At the fair, I found the perfect stand YourZenses, a team deeply rooted in shamanic practices, with their work flowing between the Netherlands and Ibiza (my favorite island when it comes to spirituality).
But what I didn’t expect was that I would also be gifted a book that day. The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield a book that is said to be passed from hand to hand, not just bought. It felt as if the universe itself wanted me to read it.
This book is a spiritual guide wrapped in a story form. It takes you on a journey through the Peruvian jungle where ancient manuscripts reveal nine (in addition two more were found) insights about life, energy, and human connection. It teaches us to notice synchronicities, to see that nothing is coincidence, and to recognize the energy we share with others and nature. It’s about expanding awareness, finding deeper meaning in everyday encounters, and learning that the universe is constantly speaking to us if only we choose to listen. The books go deep into archetypes of human beings making you understand why and how other people around you react. So you can understand and accept that it is why it is. The books also shine light on our history and how the future will be shaped.
James Redfield’s work didn’t stop with the first book. The Celestine Prophecy grew into a series, complete with companion workbooks and further explorations of the insights. For me, The Celestine Prophecy is a reminder that when we live in sync with our inner self, we walk the right path even if it doesn’t look like it at first. Intuition is the compass. Every choice, every turn, is part of the bigger picture. And while in the moment it might feel confusing or even wrong, when you look back, the dots always connect. This perspective has guided me not only in my travels through the Andes and sacred places but also in how I live day-to-day: slower, more intentional, more connected.
